Joy does come. Sometime. The old verse is true...Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning. This weekend in worship Pastor Scott challenges us in whatever night we find ourselves, to keep faith "joy comes." Maybe not literally the next morning, but joy comes. God who is living Joy imparts it to his people. Even Jesus, as recorded in the New Testament book of Hebrews was fully stocked with joy. "Who for the joy set before him, endured the cross..."
